Enrique Bryant, painter born in the USA in 1920, promoted Maestro in Artes Plasticas in Mexico City in 1949, he was associated with the Mexican mural painters Rivera, Orozco and Siqueiros. His teachers at the School of Fine Arts in Mexico City were Alfredo Zalce and Benjamin Coria.
He then moved to France, where he continued to evoke through painting a vision of Mexico, some of which described as "naive and poetic", marked by his training and his Mexican experience.
He lived in Paris, then in Montpellier from 1973.
