Piriform body, forged, assembled by crenellated brass brazing, with molded neck reinforcement. Tripod base, in bronze, with cut-out plate and roll-up shoe. Large flat spout, flared at the opening. Lid with nested flat roof, plain shell thumb, and swivel shutter. Complete with its side handle and turned wood moussoir. Height to lid: 21.5 cm. Beautiful quality of execution by a copperplate whose know-how had nothing to envy to his goldsmith alter-egos ... 18th century. Very good condition.
