Pierre DENIZOT Carpenter - Cabinetmaker,
Son of cabinetmaker and merchant-mercer Jacques Denizot, he works in his father's workshop.
Although he obtained his master's degrees in 1740, he did not register them until 1760, when his father died.
It is only then that he marks his works with his personal stamp.
He established his business in rue Neuve-Saint-Roch, worked for his colleague Léonard Boudin.
He received a large number of royal and princely orders for the châteaux of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Maisons Lafitte
. From 1764 to 1766, he was sworn accountant of his corporation and, from 1776, became the official supplier of the Comte d'Artois to whom he delivered all kinds of furniture, both luxury and ordinary.
He has great technical ability and produces works mainly in the Louis XV and Transition style. His creations are especially inlaid with geometric patterns, circles, squares, diamonds or flower and trophy patterns, drawn with rigor.
It was while carrying out an order placed by one of his clients, Monsieur, Comte de Provence, that Pierre Denizot died in his workshop in 1782.
On July 29 and November 27, 1782, the Announcements, Posters and Miscellaneous Opinions mention an auction organized after the cabinetmaker's death, in which it is reported, in addition to a large stock of mahogany, amaranth and ebony wood, a large number of chests of drawers, wardrobes , cylinder desks, secretaries, game tables ...

.His works can be found in various museums, in particular:
 - Jacquemard-André Museum (Paris)
 - Cognacq-Jay Museum (Paris)
 - Decorative Arts Museum (Lyon)
- Victoria and Albert Museum (London)
