The Massacre Of The Innocents, 16th Century Workshop of TINTORETTO (1518-1594) Beautiful scene by an Italian master from the 16th century of the Massacre of the Innocents, oil on canvas. old and important work from the studio of Tintoretto, perhaps from the artist himself. Another similar version authenticated to Tintoretto belongs to the Scuola di San, Venice. The work was then printed in 1600 by Aedigius Sadeler II. Excellent condition for its age with few traces of cleaning, touching or restoration. Presented in a beautiful old-fashioned gilded frame with plaque.
