Light cavalry officer's saber, Consulate period - 1st Empire. Flat blade à la montmorency with 1 edge and counter-edge in point and with a groove, blued to the third and ornaments of trophies of weapons gilded. (Stained blade and attenuated decorations). Blade tie present. Frame in gilded brass, single guard branch joining a pommel with short tail, flat cap with horizontal groove with rivet button. Arc joining right in its middle part, decorated with rings and an olive bead in its center and forming a right angle with the large mumps shuttle cruise. Slightly curved flared quillon ending in a button. Ebony fuze squared on the sides and striated lengthwise (slight slit). Blackened leather scabbard with 3 brass fittings with 2 ram bracelet (seems posterior). Total length: 88 cm Length sf: 86 cm.
