Cavalry pistol, model 1822 T.
France, circa 1841.
Steel, brass, wood.
Length. T.: 34 cm; L. barrel: 18cm
Caliber: 17,6mm


Front lock, transformed for the system with percussion. Long crested stock.
Barrel with sides then round (shortened) Chimney of initiation assembled on a hemispherical base. Remainder of marking on the tail of breech: 1822.

Brass nipple, notched on the left side for its original dismantling, and struck of N°10.
Counterplate and trigger guard out of punched brass.
Brass cap with a ring in its center. Mark T of control.
Original iron ramrod with nail head, stamped.
Wooden frame punched.

Very good mechanical performance, wear of use of the frame.
