Ceramic piece by Cesare Cacciapuoti, depicting a group of two children in front of a background representing a seascape and forming a vase.
Signature on the back CESARE CACCIAPUOTI NAPOLI.
Good condition, note two small enamel gaps at the top left.
Base dimensions: 38 X 17 cm.
Height: 22.5 cm.
Weight: 4600 g.
Cesare Cacciapuoti, born in Naples in 1858, is the son of ceramist Giuseppe and brother of Ettore and Guglielmo. He worked at the family ceramic factory "Cacciapuoti Ceramiche" until 1883, when he founded the "Schioppa e Manufacture de Cacciapuoti" and later the factory "Cesare Cacciapuoti" both in Naples.
Cesare Cacciapuoti died in 1914.
