Coming from an 18th century Picardy mansion, an important marble fireplace probably breaches a red and green Levanto, different reds and greens with very bright and contrasting tones The diamond band and the tablet are supported by two console jambs adorned with a large stylized acanthus leafEnd of the 18th century or early 19th century
Tablet width 144 cm, depth 40 cm. Band width 111 cm. Height approximately 124 cm, width of the jamb 14 cm.
This fireplace is to be restored, several accidents and losses, particularly lack of an angle at the base of a jamb, visible on photos of the sheet; other additional photos for details on request by email: vidalantiquaires@live.fr
