Pair of Satsuma ceramic dishes decorated with branches and gourd. The background is in an intense blue, the pattern made with bright colors and gilding. All forming a very harmonious contrast. Signed on the reverse "Nippon Kyoto Nishida Zo" meaning "Made by Nishida from Kyoto, Japan". Meiji era.
