Superb portrait of an old master painted by a member close to Giulio Romano and taken from his earlier composition. Original condition with a little opaque varnish on the surface which is easy to clean. Rebased professionally. Without frame. Provenance: Maison Bocconoc, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, the family home of the Fortesque family Dimensions: approx. 40 "x 30" unframed
