Large flat desk in rosewood veneer, ebony and Boulle marquetry on a partly brown tortoiseshell background and counterpart on all sides. It opens with four belt drawer and two recessed drawers. Curved feet adorned with gilded bronze scraps and clogs. Golden havana leather upper with small irons.Stamped Léonard BOUDIN cabinetmaker- Master in 1761. In 1772 , he opened a sales store in rue Fromenteau which he transferred in 1777 to the cloister of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois. Faced with the influx of orders, he became one of the main betting traders.
