Large multi-lobed cup entirely in plique enamel with peony decoration.
Chinese work from the first half of the 20th century.
a wonderful job on this large cup entirely made of plique enamel with a very colorful peony decoration! the effect is striking when you present it to the light. usually we meet jewelry or small objects but I have rarely seen a cut of this size.
the peony decoration is alternated between full openwork plique and openwork openwork plique on certain lobes, for a very decorative effect.
look at the photos it is the most beautiful effect. presented on a small wooden iron stand.
a small trace of tin solder on the top without impact. very good condition.
