Nepal, early 19th century, rare and very beautiful bronze altar dedicated to Bodhisattva Sadaksari Lokeshvara represented in a niche, seated on a lotus throne, his arms holding his attributes. The side columns of the niche contain various representations of animals. The top is adorned with a monster holding a snake in its mouth and flanked by two water dragons (Makara). Beautiful patina of seniority. The altar has been lacquered on the back. Height 11 cm. Width 8.1 cm. We take particular care of our packaging by using optimum protection.
