Lacquer Snuff Box, Stobwasser Style, 19th Century: The Last Supper, Leonard De Vinci

Beautiful black lacquer snuffbox, rectangular in shape, well-sealed hinged lid, adorned with a miniature painted with varnish, after the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci, The Last Supper.
The box is in good condition, little wear, few scratches, note a slight crack in an angle, and one of the horn rolls on the hinge is mothballed.
Beautiful quality very comparable to the famous snuffboxes of Stobwasser in Brunswick, but without any signature. Dimensions: 9cm x 6cm x 2cm.
