Bronze Orientalise by Alfred Dubucand (1828-1894) "young Bédoin and his mule" "Orientalist bronze by Alfred Dubucand representing a young Bédoin and his mule. Patinated bronze proof and rubbed with gold. Period: 19th century Alfred Dubucand : 1828-1894, he would have followed the teaching of Barye. His work consists mainly of small waxes and some plasters, most of which were drawn in bronze. These are mainly orientalist groups relating to hunting and of horses that he did not begin to exhibit until the Salon of 1867.
