Engraved, Chiseled Ironwork, Louis XIV Period: Door Knocker Plate

Superb object, rare ironwork, plate of a Louis XIV period door knocker, entirely cut iron, tool openwork, chased with a small chisel, engraved in a decoration a little difficult to locate because of the abundance of dotted lines, a fleur-de-lis, two animals facing each other, foliage framing the head of a mustached feline ... other decorative elements perhaps, nothing very clear.
Dimensions = 24cm x 13cm, for a knocker of about 15cm
Condition is good. There is a beautiful and touching repair on the back, two pretty patches that are not visible on front.
