Old Cameo Brooch And Its Blue Enamel

Cameo on shell, oval in shape, old brooch representing a biblical scene. The entourage chiseled with leaf and pearl cords is enamelled blue. The hanging system is a pin with a safety hook.

Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark.
Proportions: Height: 7 cm, width: 5.5 cm, thickness: approximately 1 cm.

Authentic old jewel - French work from the second half of the 19th century.
Our opinion: An old cameo with a rare representation. The enamel is in excellent condition, rare for antique jewelry from this period.
