Very good state of conservation, some wear to the gilding.
Sugar spoon in gilt silver with nets and shells. The fillet spoon is decorated with a pierced central rosette with tulips surrounded by a motif of locks enriched with four leaves. The spatula is engraved with coats of arms: in a rococo cartouche surmounted by a earl crown , the coat of arms, on silver apassing lion sable accosted by four birds, with the shield of azure fess of gules charged with three stars in chief and in point.
Oily and very fresh spoon, a very similar model is kept at the museum of the work of Notre-Dame de Strasbourg
Hallmarks: Recognition: small 13 with fleur de lys, Strasbourg, around 1750-1789 [4, p.37]; Jurande: R surmounted by a fleur-de-lys, Strasbourg, 1768 [4, p.37]; master silversmith: illegible, only a "Z" is, perhaps the Fritz hallmark
