Important composition signed in the upper margin [Pierre] Adolphe Huas and dated 1868. '' Genre painter, portrait painter and pastellist, born in La Rochelle in 1838. Died in Paris in 1900. He exhibited in 1863 at the Salon. '' (In Bénézit ). Bénézit V, Dictionary of painters, p. 643 Presented in a gilded frame. Small scattered chips affecting the frame. Besides, very good condition.
