In its original setting After having followed the teaching of the National School of Fine Arts, his pictorial universe is mainly oriented towards landscapes. He will find them first in Normandy, then in Brittany, in Île-de-France, in Provence and in Tunisia On his return, he entered the Académie de la Grande Chaumière then in 1925 he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, in particular a large canvas representing the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, now on display at the Granville Museum of Art and History.
