Beautiful oil on canvas depicting cows grazing on the banks of the Orne in Clécy by Félix Planquette. Félix Planquette, born in Arras in 1873 and died in Paris in 1964, he was a member of the Wissant school and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1900, Prix Rosa Bonheur in 1912, he is a landscape painter and particularly a painter animalier. Established in La Manche, he represented the Normandy countryside a lot. French School of the 20th century. Frame: 83 x 71. Table: 63.5 x 52.
