Still Life Paintings, French Scope, Early 20th Century flag

Object description :

"Still Life Paintings, French Scope, Early 20th Century"
The painting, createdin a French context at the beginning of the 20th century, represents a composite and very particular still life. The image is divided into three vertical sections. The left end is entirely dedicated to the depiction of a vase of colorful flowers that captures the attention of the beholder and stands out against the dark shades of the rest of the composition. In the central part of the image, we find in the foreground a composition of fruits represented with great mastery of detail and great immediacy. Looking up a little, we find the painted statue, presumably in bronze, of a lion with open jaws. To the far right, in total darkness, bowls and what appears to be a candle stand out. The painting is signed lower right. The signature has not been deciphered. The painting, in excellent condition, has tension on the back and is sold with a lacquered resinous mesh frame. On the back, there are writing in pencil. The measures, including the end frame, are 152x102x3.5 cm
