François-Maurice Roganeau (1883-1973): "Gypsy dance at Santa-Cruz", oil on canvas 73 X 60 cm, mounted in a beautiful Parnassian frame 94 X 80 cm, signed and located "El arco de Santa-Cruz".
One cannot, seeing this painting, prevent oneself from thinking of the verses of Carmen: "Under the ramparts of Seville, At my friend Lilas Pastia I will go dancing the séguedille, Drinking manzanillas ..."
