Old Persian Bakthiar Rug, 138 Cm X 213 Cm, Iran, Hand Knotted Around 1950, In Good Condition

This elegant Bakthiar measures 138 cm x 213 cm, it is in good condition and has very fresh colors.
From the 50s (1950) this rug is from the region of Chahar Mahal (Shotour) in Iran. It is a Bakthiar with a central medallion, very different from the usual square or rectangular structures spread over the whole field.
The medallion is shaped like a diamond as a whole, and its heart is shaped like a large flower and large leaves.
The field is made up of large, colorful stylized flowers tied with a very large application of symmetry.
This type of Bakthiar carpet is not the most common.
These rugs are resistant knotted with very good quality wool from the mountains.
A slight wear due to its good age, as well as the lond of the edges, nothing dramatic for a carpet finely tight in knots and especially of this age!
This rug has been professionally cleaned and environmentally friendly.
