"Orientalist Painting Signed Salomon Taib (1877/1954)"
Born in Algeria Salomon Taib will study in Paris with Léon Bonnat (great portrait painter of the 19th century) and will exhibit there at the salon of orientalist painters. He will paint a sublimated vision of the East thanks to canvases representing graceful oriental women, reminding him of his childhood. This painting highlights a sensual woman adorned with a pink harem pants and a shimmering purple veil. A very beautiful work filled with grace and nonchalance.
