Beautiful and large impressionist pastel by Pierre Jacques Pelletier representing a village with characters and boats on the banks of the Seine, signed lower left. Format without frame at sight 30x60cm. It is in fact a very beautiful pastel by Pierre-Jacques Pelletier, as very often it represents a landscape of the banks of a river or river, here most probably the Seine. This pastel is in good condition, some slight folds at the angles which will have returned almost invisible when it will be re-framed and preserved by a Marie-Louise, which is not the case for the moment; the frame is its original frame, very richly carved, it has on the other hand several accidents.
