Beautiful set of twelve heavily damasked napkins with openwork initials "C D". The very rich damask is patterned with garlands of roses surrounding a Greek frieze. The Greek frieze is slightly openwork. Large monogram in thick embroidery. Large size towels. Beautiful quality set made around 1900. A note: Very good condition, cotton and linen fabrics very white and solid. Despite all the care we take in cleaning tiny traces may remain.
