Keraluc Diabolo Vase flag

Object description :

"Keraluc Diabolo Vase"
This beautiful vase in the shape of a diabolo with half-plant and half-abstract motifs was created by the artist-painter Jean-Claude Courjault at the Breton earthenware factory in Keraluc, where he signed his unique pieces with the mention “Diplômé des Beaux- Arts ”and his name on the side.
Created by ceramic engineer Victor Lucas, from the Sèvres National Ceramics School. Keraluc, which in Breton means the house of Lucas, was active from 1946 to 1984 with, unlike his colleague from Quimper, the desire to allow many artists to express themselves. It was from 1960 that the creator's children oriented it towards stoneware, before being bought by the HB-Henriot earthenware factory, which continued to operate the Keraluc brand.
