Architectural caprice animated by characters, tempera on prepared oval canvas, dimensions 52 cm x 72 cm, with its very beautiful 18th century frame in carved wood and original gilding 72 cm x 92 cm, by Pietro Paltronieri. Pietro Paltronieri born July 27, 1673 in Mirandola and died July 8, 1741 in Bologna is an Italian painter of the late Baroque period. He is nicknamed il Mirandolose prospettive slab, for his ability to this kind of architectural painting. He worked in several Italian cities like Genoa, Rome, Venice and Bologna and in Vienna, contributing to the decoration of many palaces.
