Double-sided Minister's desk from the 1900s in solid mahogany Louis XVI style with 2 zippers adorned with gilded bronzes decorated with children. Parisian work from the house "Mercier frères". Total length with 2m75 zippers. Mercier Frères Décoration was a decoration company, upholsterer and furniture manufacturer, located at 100faubourg Saint-Antoine, in Paris. It was created in 1828 by André Mercier and closed in 1985. Specializing in stylish furniture, it supplied many European and Oriental courts, and particularly the imperial family of Iran. Significant events She took part in the Universal Exhibition of 1867, then, with a small pavilion, in that of 1900. She then published a map of the exhibition's attractions.
