Jean Marais (1913-1998)
Actor, director, writer, Jean Marais retired to the Alpes-Maritimes in the years 70, first in Cabris where he spent fifteen years (a boulevard in the town near the house he lived in bears his name) then in Vallauris where he practices pottery, sculpture and theater. He opened a store and even an art gallery there thanks to a couple of potters' friends.
