"Empire Candlesticks, Silver, Barcelona Early Nineteenth Century"
Magnificent pair of Empire or Restoration style candlesticks in solid silver with hallmarks of the city of Barcelona and a master silversmith of which only the letters CAR are legible. They are decorated with stylistic elements typical for this early nineteenth century in Spain and are delicately engraved with vegetal-inspired motifs. They have a pair of matching but probably later bobeches. They weigh 810 grams.
