Pair Of Cassolettes Forming Louis XVI Style Candlesticks flag

Object description :

"Pair Of Cassolettes Forming Louis XVI Style Candlesticks"
Pair of rich cassolettes in gilded chiseled bronze and white marble. Eggs decorated with garlands of flowers, interlacing and heads of fauns, supported by tripod feet, terminated by hooves and acanthus leaves. Circular base surrounded by a row of pearls. The upper part with a pinecone grip turns and reveals a binet. These casseroles have retained all their original gilding, they just show the lack of a small piece of horn of a fauna, visible in the photos. Cassolettes from the Second Empire period in Louis XVI style.
