"18th Century Commode"
Control chest with front and curved sides in veneer: walnut, maple, plum. Decor of a marquetry of cubes in the reserves and veneer in curling in the frames. It opens with three drawers, the low crosspieces are scalloped, they are assembled in the amounts which end in a small curved foot. The curved top is molded with a corbin beak. The interiors of the drawers are in fir. Silver lock entries. Regional work in eastern France from the last quarter of the 18th century. Small chest of drawers perfectly made with beautiful proportions.
