Louis-Rolland TRINQUESSE (1746-1800) "Academy of man and study of woman" Black chalk, heightened with white chalk and stumped on gray paper this large sheet comes from an old group of drawings by the artist, scattered there is in his twenties, signed or not. The treatment of the drawing itself and the sketch of the woman on the left alone are Trinquesse's signature. Sold as is, rather good, never restored, the sheet is placed on an old sheet, hiding a slight gap in the paper at the bottom right. Drawing to be compared to the academy sold at Christie's 7,500 euros including fees on March 24, 2021, with an identical technique. Dimensions with 19th century frame: H.85cm x L.72cm
