Two Arms Candle Holder. XVIII Century. flag

Object description :

"Two Arms Candle Holder. XVIII Century."
Two large candle holder arms.
XVIII century. (O before)
Italy
The structure is in iron, with two hooks which serve to attach the two arms symmetrically to the wall.

There are elements in carved wood and elements modeled in plaster.

Originally the two arms were probably mounted on two columns or pillars, so that the silhouette, the design of the spirals and the leaves in the Baroque style could be appreciated in transparency.
Numerous defects and repaintings on the gilding.
