Rare Turner, C.1780 Black Basalt Rum Kettle, Damaged flag

Object description :

"Rare Turner, C.1780 Black Basalt Rum Kettle, Damaged"
Black basalt (glazed inside stoneware) large kettle, Turner, c. 1780, at Lane End, rather similar with Wedgwood black Basalt. This big kettle is decorated with scenes of cherubs in relief, and signed, hollow mark on basement.
Condition is not good: lid has been restored one third of border, handle has been stapled, beak's end restored and probably one hairline masked on body.
But you know that it is a museum ceramic item very rare to find, even in that condition
