"Charming Lesson In String Music, 18th Century, French School. Hst"
Two elegantly dressed musicians and two younger ones are standing in front of a large entablature draped in pleated blue-green velvet and undoubtedly rehearsing a musical piece for stringed instruments.
The music master holding his violin at the shoulder rests his bow on the placed sheet music and indicates to the lute player on the other side the chord to be perfected to continue.
One of the young children, in between, standing up to the waist holding the music booklet to play is interrupted as he turns the pages.
A young boy, as if looking at the painter, holds a Viole de Gambe, the sculpted butt of which we can easily recognize.
This 18th century music scene, full of charm, with bright colors, is in very good condition.
Formerly re-lined stage The rear frame is in perfect condition.
