Silver mounting with single branch with gutters, the cruise with half-oreillons in shield.
Quillon with curved palmette (punches "B.Y." and diamond of goldsmith).
Wooden handle tied, covered with basane with double twisted silver filigree. Short cap with large oval and flat pommel engraved on top with a monogram; the sides cut in indentation, are fixed to the handle by two small silver nails.
Curved blade with hollow sides, engraved on the back: M ftur na le de Kilingenthale, Coulaux frères Entrep.It is stamped with a crowned M and LW; the point is bevelled.
Iron scabbard, engraved on the upper part of one side "Le 1er Consul au Cem. Muller Nicolas. Mal. des Logis au 2ème de Hussard" and on the other side "Entreprise Boutet Mfture à Versailles". And pierced for use, in its lower part.
Two large silver bracelets with iron rings. Dart in button with sides.
Nicolas MULLER, Maréchal des Logis in the 2nd Hussar, was noticed by his brilliant conduct during the campaign of the army of the Rhine in 1800.
He received on January 24, 1803 (4 pluviôse year XI) a sabre of honor. Member of the Legion of Honor by right, on 1 Vendemiaire year XII (24 September 1803)
