CAUCHOIS, Eugène Henry
French painter of still life with flowers.
Born February 14, 1850 in Rouen - died October 11, 1911 Paris
Eugène Henry Cauchois was one of the best French painters of floral still lifes. He was a pupil of Duboc, Cabanel and Quost. From 1874, he exhibited at the Paris Salon. His paintings are exhibited in the museums of Rouen, Louviers, Perpignan, Châtellerault and in Rio de Janeiro.
His pseudonyms are: F. de Montaland, P.Richard, G. Vallon, P. Valmont, Savigny, R. Vermont, H. Sibo, Kahn, Rick
