Head, bronze covered with a black patina mounted on a black marble base, Jean Decoen, 1935, signed and dated. The marble base has chips and scratches. Jean Decoen does not benefit from the support of his parents to become an artist. It was not until 1910 that he began to study at the Academy of Brussels.
