Set of 9 Numbered plaques for magic lantern representing the fable of Jean de la Fontaine ... the miller, his son and the donkey.
19th century circa 1860. signed Carpenter & Westley.

Carpenter & Westley, renowned scientific instrument maker active from 1835 to 1914, based in Regent Street London.

The plate consists of a wooden base with a hand-painted circular glasses in the center.

Very good condition.
