Coat-of-arms chimney plate of the Lenoncourt de Blainville family probably dated 1706 (like the one in our last photo), found at Saint Quirin (Moselle). Our plate was cast in the Dillingen Hutte steelworks located in Dillingen, city of the district of Sarrelouis in Saarland, French territory until 1813. In 1685, King Louis XIV authorized the creation of this steelworks to Marquis Charles Henri Gaspard de Lenoncourt, who died in 1713. The house of Lenoncourt gave bishops, archbishops and even cardinals.
