Object description :

"Glass Ewer - XIX Th C"
EWER in crystalline glass with a flared S-groove; the handle and the tapered pedestal are solid. It is carved and engraved in full of stylized floral and foliage motifs partitioned by two thick horizontal moldings.
Height: 25.8 cm.
FRANCE, Beginning of the 19th century

The rigging mark and the underside of the pedouch are ground.
A bubble is visible at the base of the pellet and two impurities are trapped near the node.
