Couple of Parisians at the Belle Epoque, very pretty gouache by Théophile Poilpot (1848-1915), great finesse and good quality of execution.
Signed lower right with the indication "lunchtime - the galleries of Paris - to my dear friend Marc Varenne". Théophile Poilpot entered the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris in the workshop of Jean-Léon Gérome, he benefited from a good international recognition.
