Metal Mold, 20th Century

A souvenir of a 20th century chocolate maker, this mold is made from tinplate and tinned with a mixture of tin and silver and then polished. Almost no chocolate mold bears a signature and ours is no exception. Probably French, we believe it was made in Létang, one of the only factories of this type in France. In the shape of a log, our mold is complete with its clamps in perfect condition. A fun folk art object and a mouthwatering gourmet souvenir!
