Rare large patinated bronze measuring 110 cm in height representing a bare archery shooter signed SENTIS Joseph Gabriel SENTIS de Villemur born in 1855, quite gifted for sculpture, he entered the Beaux Arts in Toulouse before joining the prestigious Ecoule du Louvre Several once rewarded at the Paris Salon, he received official orders. At 43 years old he was appointed professor and head of workshop to found the Academy of Fine Arts in Brazil He received all the tributes of this grateful people Back in France, it was in Villemur that he retired and died in 1937 Bronze that I propose to you we know of another copy which was sold in 1991 that's all .....
