Jacques Van Coppenolle (1878 - 1915) is a landscape painter born in Montigny sur Loing (Seine et Marne) He exhibited landscapes at the Salon d'Automne and at the Independents from 1904 to 1914. Member of the Salon d'Automne in 1910 He worked as a painter -decorator at the earthenware factory of Montigny-sur-Loing where he excelled for the rendering of his landscapes Some of his works are kept in the museum of Clamecy On the frame of the gilded wood table we can read the painted place: "the canal du Loing à Episy "7bre 1899 39 x 34 cm with the frame
