J. de Bru: 18th century drawing "Landscape with donkey cart" pencil on laid paper approximately 25 X 39 cm, mounted fully on a vellum with a frame of threads damaged on the edges 32.5 X 47 cm. Signed with a pen lower left I or J De Bru F (probably for fecit, "did" in Latin).
This beautiful sheet shows us a donkey driver followed by his heavily loaded beast ascending the path that leads to the village on the hill with already ruined fortifications.
