Exceptional set of 8 gouaches made by the lighting architect VHVERY in the 1930s. This architect made the monumental neon decorations for the Samaritaine, one of the gouaches is also located on Rue de la Monnaie, and for the town of St Cloud during of communal or national holidays. The gouaches represent his lighting achievements. One represents a portico at the entrance to the town of St Cloud. The biggest, the most sensational, is 66x80. The others are on average 50x60. Photos are difficult to take due to the glasses. The gouaches are all framed identically, a simple rod in blond wood. They are signed. More photos and info on request.
